Service Description

This six-week class will introduce you to the basics of quilting. We cover the basics, from fabric selection to construction skills to finishing a quilt. We start with an introduction to what a quilt is and the tools you need to create one. Then each subsequent week you will make a variety of pieced blocks as well as various forms of appliqué. We finish the course with an overview of how to layer a quilt and the various ways to quilt and finish your future projects. This class is designed to give you an overview of the different aspects of quilt making and teach you the skills needed to create quilts so that you can decide which aspects of quilting appeal to you the most!
