Meet the Boxy Bag - an internet sensation. In this one-day class, we will make this cute boxy bag. In class we will be making the unlined vinyl bag. It is great for travel, sewing or craft supplies, make up, or anything you like. In class, you will learn how to work with vinyl, install a zipper in an unlined vinyl bag. Once you make one, you won't be able to stop making them. I confess I am addicted and make Boxy Bags as a palate cleanser between projects. This class is appropriate for beginners - advanced sewists. For class you will need: Boxy Bag Pattern - Steve's will provide the pattern for you. #5 Bag Zipper 20" and an appropriate Zipper Pull. (If you purchase zipper tape by the yard from Steve's, you will be able to make a few bags . . .) Clear or double-sided vinyl - ½ Yard (I recommend the By Annie's vinyl available at Steve's). Optional: Contrast Bias Binding, 3/4" Gross Grain Ribbon General Sewing Supplies: Rotary Cutter with a sharp blade, All purpose thread that matches or coordinates with your zipper choice, a full bobbin, 90/14 Super Universal Needle (works well with vinyl), Quilting Ruler, tape measure, Wonder Clips, Wash Away Wonder Tape Teflon foot (optional but recommended).
